Outpatient Pharmacist | Sylmar, California

Location:

• Sylmar, California

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• Flexibility to work primarily 1st and 2nd shifts, with occasional 3rd shifts

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current pharmacist license with outpatient and hospital pharmacy expertise
• Preference for candidates with PGY1 residency or approximately 2 years of recent inpatient experience
• Commitment to long-term contract work with interest in permanent placement
• Ability and willingness to complete and pass a comprehensive competency exam (single attempt)
• Successful clearance of a Livescan background check prior to start
• Strong interpersonal skills for onsite interviews and team collaboration

Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care in outpatient hospital settings supporting ambulatory clinics
• Ensure accurate dispensing, medication therapy management, and patient counseling
• Maintain compliance with departmental protocols and state/federal regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
