Travel Retail Pharmacist - Syracuse, New York

Join a well-established outpatient retail pharmacy team in Cooperstown, New York, as a Staff Pharmacist offering dedicated patient care in a high-volume environment. This full-time travel opportunity involves supporting a respected healthcare system known for its strong pharmacy program and commitment to excellence within a charming upstate community.

Location:

• Primary: Cooperstown, NY
• Occasional coverage: Oneonta and Delhi, NY

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and verify approximately 1,100 prescriptions weekly
• Participate in the Meds to Beds program, ensuring seamless medication delivery to hospital patients
• Provide immunization services and patient counseling with a focus on exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with healthcare team using EPIC for patient demographics and insurance information
• Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy management system for daily operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License in good standing
• Proven retail or outpatient pharmacy experience, preferably in a high-volume setting
• Familiarity with PioneerRx and EPIC systems advantageous
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable and experienced with Meds to Beds programs
• Strong dedication to delivering outstanding customer service
• Flexibility to provide occasional coverage at satellite locations (Oneonta and Delhi)
