Per Diem Pharmacist - Toms River, NJ

A medical supply company requires a licensed pharmacist to serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to support shipping operations to Montana. This role involves overseeing compliance and ensuring proper documentation, recordkeeping, and labeling for prescription shipments to Montana patients. The pharmacist may work under a business arrangement, without full-time employment, dedicating approximately one hour per week to the position.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) under a mail order pharmacy license arrangement.
• Ensure all shipments to Montana meet regulatory standards, including accurate labeling and documentation.
• Maintain detailed records to identify Montana patients, the legend products dispensed, and the dates of shipment.
• Comply with all Board of Pharmacy requirements related to mail order pharmacy practices.
• Act as the regulatory liaison for the company regarding pharmacy operations in Montana.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in any U.S. state.
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulatory standards, particularly related to mail order dispensing.
• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional business arrangements.
