Oncology Outpatient Pharmacist | Tulare, California

A skilled pharmacist position is available for a contract assignment in an outpatient infusion clinic setting located in Tulare, CA. This role primarily supports operations within a healthcare systems outpatient oncology pharmacy, emphasizing the preparation and dispensing of complex chemotherapy and biologics, alongside providing direct clinical care to ambulatory cancer patients.

• Tulare, CA (Visalia area)

Schedule:

• Day shifts
• Four 10-hour shifts per week

Contract Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks with potential to extend or convert to permanent
• Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily clinic pharmacy operations
• Ensure safe and precise preparation and dispensing of chemotherapy and biologic medications
• Deliver clinical care and education to oncology patients in an outpatient setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient treatment plans

Desired Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license
• PGY-1 pharmacy residency completion or minimum of two years clinical pharmacist experience
• Experience in outpatient oncology pharmacy preferred
• Strong knowledge of chemotherapy and biologic agents
