Retail Pharmacist in Vineland, NJ

A retail pharmacist position is available for temporary coverage in Vineland, NJ from November 15 through January 1, providing consistent weekly hours during the holiday season. This role supports daily pharmacy operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow in a busy retail pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Provide patient counseling and medication education
• Administer immunizations as needed
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and manage daily workflow
• Ensure prescriptions are accurately filled, labeled, and dispensed
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation
• Comply with state, federal, and pharmacy policies and procedures
• Deliver professional customer service to patients and customers

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey Pharmacist License
• Certified Immunizer
• Recent retail pharmacy experience required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work approximately 3035 hours per week
• Availability for coverage between November 15 and January 1 is essential

• November 1521: Sun 9am2pm; Wed & Thurs 9am8pm
• November 2228: Tues & Wed 9am8pm; Fri 8am4pm or 12pm8pm; or Sat 8am5pm
• November 29December 5: Mon 8am8pm; Fri 12pm8pm; Sat 8am5pm

This temporary contract opportunity offers flexible hours and the chance to provide critical pharmacy services during a busy season. Candidates able to cover most or all of the assignment are highly preferred.
