Outpatient Oncology Pharmacist - Visalia, California

A rewarding opportunity is available for 1-2 pharmacists to provide expert care in an outpatient infusion setting in Visalia, CA. This contract role offers a chance to contribute to a healthcare systems oncologic pharmacy services with a potential to convert to a permanent position after 13 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee clinic pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Prepare and dispense complex chemotherapy and biologic medications accurately
• Deliver direct clinical care and patient education to individuals receiving cancer treatments in an ambulatory setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes and patient safety

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license is required
• Completed PGY-1 residency or a minimum of two years of clinical pharmacist experience
• Experience in outpatient oncology pharmacy is highly preferred but not mandatory

Location:

• Visalia, CA

Schedule:

• Day shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week
