Retail Pharmacist | Warren, Michigan

A specialty compounding pharmacy in Warren, MI is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment. This role requires a pharmacist with both Michigan and California licensure to work onsite, providing expert pharmaceutical care in a retail environment with a focus on compounding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in a retail pharmacy setting
• Oversee specialty compounding processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and answer any pharmacy-related questions
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for patients
• Maintain proper documentation and adhere to regulatory compliance standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Pharmacist licenses in both Michigan (MI) and California (CA) mandatory
• Proven experience in retail pharmacy practice
• Compounding pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, ethics, and professional standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
