A nursing home facility serving approximately 50 residents is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for per diem coverage. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential pharmacy services during vacation periods, ensuring continuous, high-quality care for residents.

Location: Warrenton, VA
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Coverage dates: August 5, 6, 7, 10, and 11

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare staff to maintain medication safety
• Utilize PointClickCare computer system for managing prescriptions and records
• Maintain compliance with facility standards and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Active, clear VA Pharmacy license
• One year or more of recent pharmacy experience, preferably in long-term care or nursing home settings
• Proficiency with PointClickCare or similar pharmacy management systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
