Travel Pediatric Inpatient Pharmacist | Warwick, Rhode Island

This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists with inpatient experience who have worked with pediatric and womens health populations. The facility is a large, Level I trauma center with a 1500-bed capacity, providing a dynamic and challenging environment where you can utilize your clinical skills or operational expertise.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing clinical pharmacy services in pediatric and womens health units or supporting operational functions in the dispensing pharmacy
• Managing sterile processing and serving potentially as Pharmacist in Charge depending on experience
• Participating in patient care through medication review and coordination with healthcare teams
• Working a mix of day and evening shifts, including rotating weekends, ensuring comprehensive coverage

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Minimum three years of inpatient pharmacy experience; PGY1 residency preferred, but two to three years of equivalent clinical practice is acceptable
• Exposure to pediatric and womens health pharmacy practice strongly encouraged
• Ability to obtain a Connecticut pharmacist license within 7-10 days
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems

Location: Warwick, RI (possibility to travel and work within the hospital network)

Schedule:

• 5 x 8-hour shifts per week
• Rotating day/evening shifts including weekends
