Pharmacist, Days (9:30am-6pm; 1:30pm-10pm, 1-2 nights a week possible) -12 weeks, contract to hire

Environment: LTC Mail Order
Shift: M-F, days (9:30am -6pm; 1:30pm -10pm) 1 to 2 nights a week possible.


Job Duties:

Verify, prepare, and dispense prescription medications

  • Counsel patients on medications, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
  • Ensure prescriptions and pharmacy operations comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate, confidential patient and pharmacy records
  • Identify and address medication-related issues and communicate with healthcare providers
  • Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions as needed
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
  • Maintain medication and supply inventory
  • Provide medication management and patient education services


    • Required:
    Pharmacy experience.
    LTC experience a plus
    Rhode Island pharmacy license.


    Pay: $58/hr,
