Travel Hospital Pharmacist | Washburn, Wisconsin

A travel opportunity is available for a pharmacist to provide expert clinical services at a 50-bed hospital in Washburn, Wisconsin. This role offers a dynamic environment focused on patient-centered pharmaceutical care, ideal for a pharmacist with hospital experience ready to make a meaningful impact.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts
• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
• Immediate start available
• Duration: 13 weeks+

Key Responsibilities:

• Review medication orders for appropriate drug therapy, dosing, dosage form, regimen, therapeutic duplication, and potential drug interactions
• Provide pharmacokinetic and anticoagulation dosing expertise
• Participate in comprehensive pharmaceutical care services, including medication reconciliation and discharge medication education
• Oversee pharmaceutical compounding with strict adherence to USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines
• Utilize EPIC for medication management and patient documentation

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain a temporary Wisconsin license
• Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and clinical protocols
• Familiarity with USP regulatory standards and compliance
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems, preferably EPIC
