A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Night Shift Pharmacist at a 120-bed Level III trauma center in Norfolk, NE. This role offers the chance to work a consistent schedule of 7 consecutive nights on followed by 7 nights off, with shifts running from 8 PM to 7 AM. Immediate start is preferred.

Responsibilities include validating medication orders, performing kinetic dosing, checking medications prior to distribution, responding to nursing inquiries, overseeing compounding during the night shift, and handling outpatient prescription filling for emergency department patients. Support from a pharmacy technician is provided during these hours, ensuring efficient operations.

Ideal candidates hold an active Nebraska pharmacist license and have at least one year of inpatient experience. Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records is preferred, though training will be provided as needed. Experience with Pyxis systems is required.

Qualifications:

• Active Nebraska pharmacist license
• Minimum 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience

• Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing system
