Pharmacist in West Chester, PA

A home infusion pharmacy is seeking an experienced Production Pharmacist to support their operations in Aston, PA. This role focuses on the safe preparation, verification, and dispensing of sterile intravenous (IV) medications, playing a crucial part in patient care outside of traditional hospital settings.

Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying medication orders and patient records, preparing and supervising sterile IV medications, and ensuring the accuracy of all medications and supplies before dispensing. The pharmacist will also monitor drug therapy outcomes, collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, maintain accurate documentation, comply with pharmacy regulations, and participate in quality assurance initiatives and staff training.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Choose between 10:00 AM6:00 PM or 9:30 AM5:30 PM shifts

Location:

• Aston, PA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• RPh or PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy school
• Active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 2 years recent acute-care experience or 1 year recent home infusion experience
• Knowledge of IV therapy and sterile compounding processes
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
