Travel Hospital Pharmacist in Westerville, OH

A well-established 500-bed hospital is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a travel assignment in the Cincinnati area. This position offers the opportunity to work evenings on a flexible scheduleeither four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shiftsfollowing initial training conducted during day shifts. The assignment is set for 13 weeks with the possibility of extension, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and verify sterile compounding and medication preparation in the IV room.
• Perform order verification and dosing checks for sterile and non-sterile medications.
• Manage medication inventory and Pyxis checking.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses, to answer medication-related questions.
• Conduct patient consults with focus on antibiotic dosing and advanced therapies including ECMO and CRRT.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and clinical decision support.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Pharmacist license in Ohio.
• Minimum of 3 years hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in large academic medical centers.
• Proficiency with the EPIC EMR system.
• Familiarity with sterile compounding procedures and medication safety protocols.
• Experience with complex clinical programs such as ECMO and CRRT is highly desired.
• Strong communication and clinical consultation skills.

Location: Cincinnati metropolitan area
Schedule: Evening shifts (4x10 or 5x8) with day shift training
