Inpatient Pediatric Pharmacist in White Plains, NY

This opportunity is for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support pediatric and women's health services at a leading children's hospital. The role requires a balance of clinical expertise and operational skills and is ideal for pharmacists with a strong inpatient background who have exposure to pediatric care.

Location:

• New Haven, Connecticut

Schedule/Hours:

• 5x 8-hour shifts per week
• Mix of day and evening shifts
• Rotating weekend coverage

Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care to pediatric inpatients, supporting clinical and operational pharmacy functions
• Manage medication dispensing and sterile processing tasks as needed
• Serve in roles such as Pharmacist in Charge and contribute to efficient pharmacy operations
• Use EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use in pediatric and women's health units

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years as a licensed pharmacist in an inpatient setting
• Completion of PGY1 training preferred, or 2-3 years of relevant inpatient pharmacy experience if not residency trained
• Exposure to pediatric and womens health pharmacy practice preferred
• Ability to obtain a Connecticut Pharmacist license within 710 days
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
