Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of specialty practice areas including IV room, diversion/narcotics management, informatics, and residency coordination within the pharmacy department.
- Provide pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist when needed.
- Offer user support, troubleshoot, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Coordinate upgrade testing activities, education, and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Train pharmacy staff and serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
- Completion of accredited PGY-1 and PGY-2 residencies/fellowships OR PGY-1 residency plus 3+ years clinical experience OR 5+ years clinical experience without residency.
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
- BLS and ALS/ACLS certification.
- Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy, Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification or equivalent certifications relevant to specialty practice.
