Retail Pharmacist in Williamstown, NJ

An experienced Retail Pharmacist is needed for temporary coverage in Vineland, NJ, available from November 15 through January 1. This opportunity offers flexible hours, approximately 3035 per week, ideal for pharmacists seeking reliable work during the holiday season. The role supports daily pharmacy operations, ensuring patients receive accurate prescriptions and quality care in a retail setting.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Provide thorough patient counseling and medication education
• Administer immunizations as required
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and manage the daily workflow
• Ensure all prescriptions are accurately filled, labeled, and dispensed
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Follow all state, federal, and pharmacy policies and procedures
• Deliver professional customer service in a retail pharmacy environment

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey Pharmacist License
• Certified Immunizer
• Recent retail pharmacy experience is required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Availability to work approximately 3035 hours per week during the assignment period

Schedule Highlights (November):

• Nov 15-21: Sun 9am-2pm; Wed & Thurs 9am-8pm
• Nov 22-28: Tues & Wed 9am-8pm; Fri (various shifts) or Sat 8am-5pm
• Nov 29-Dec 5: Mon 8am-8pm; Fri 12pm-8pm; Sat 8am-5pm
