Travel Pharmacist - Window Rock, Arizona

A full-time travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Window Rock, AZ, offering a professional setting focused on delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care. This role involves both sterile and non-sterile compounding, enabling the development of tailored medication preparations to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pharmaceutical compounding, including sterile and non-sterile preparations and extemporaneous formulations.
• Screen prescriptions for accuracy, proper dosage, and identify any therapeutic, chemical, or physical incompatibilities.
• Provide guidance to patients and healthcare staff regarding dosage regimens, side effects, and medication storage requirements.
• Participate actively in medication reconciliation, interdisciplinary rounds, and collaborative treatment planning.
• Advise physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers on medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and potential adverse effects.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Clear and active pharmacist license in any state.
• Minimum of one year inpatient pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Experience with Indian Health Services (IHS) pharmacy operations is a plus.
