Inpatient Pharmacist in Winslow, AZ

An opportunity is available for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to provide critical pharmacy support within a hospital setting in Winslow, AZ. This role involves working directly with inpatient care teams to ensure safe and effective medication management for hospitalized patients.

Location:

• Winslow, Arizona

Schedule:

• 2 to 4 days per week
• Shift hours: 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify medications for inpatient use
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy
• Monitor patient responses and adjust medications as necessary
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Utilize hospital technology systems, including Cerner and Pyxis (training provided)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Arizona
• Previous hospital inpatient pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently within a healthcare team environment
