A small, 40-bed hospital in Wisconsin Rapids is seeking a skilled pharmacist to support their inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services. This travel position offers the chance to work in a dynamic setting with a diverse patient population, including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, ED, and outpatient oncology departments.

Schedule:

• Choose between four 10-hour day shifts per week (7 a.m.5 p.m.) with rotating weekends
• Or a block schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off (day shift)

Responsibilities include:

• Managing multiple concurrent tasks within the central inpatient pharmacy, including verifying EPIC orders, reviewing technician work, and responding to pharmacist calls
• Preparing and providing inpatient and outpatient intravenous medications, unit dose inpatient meds, and chemotherapy doses for outpatients
• Supporting an inpatient census averaging 3040 patients across various specialties such as surgery, ICU, and oncology

Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficient in handling inpatient and outpatient medication preparations, including chemotherapy and IVs
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, preferably EPIC
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Experience in diverse medical units such as Med/Surg, ICU, OB/GYN, ED, and oncology is highly valued
