Per Diem Pharmacist - York, PA

A per diem opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist specializing in mail order pharmacy services, located in York, PA. This role supports the efficient processing and fulfillment of prescription orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery in a mail order setting.

Schedule:

• June 18: Half day, 12:00 PM 4:00 PM
• June 19: Full day, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• June 22: Full day, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• June 26: Full day, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

Responsibilities include:

• Entering prescriptions accurately into the pharmacy system
• Responding to email requests related to prescription status or inquiries
• Picking and preparing orders for shipment
• Collaborating with a full-time technician who assists with packing, shipping, and pharmacy system operations
• Performing occasional lifting up to 50 pounds related to inventory and order fulfillment

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in retail or mail order pharmacy practice
• Ability to manage tasks with moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills for email correspondence and teamwork
