Retail Pharmacist | Yreka, California

An opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services in a fast-paced retail environment from October 26 through October 30. The position involves working full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, at a pharmacy located in Yreka, CA.

The ideal candidate will have a valid California Pharmacist license and recent experience working as a Pharmacist in a retail setting. Comfort and proficiency managing a high-volume pharmacy are essential, as this location processes between 400 and 500 prescriptions daily. Familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy software is preferred, as the pharmacy has recently transitioned to this system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process prescriptions and verify medication orders
• Provide patient counseling and respond to medication-related questions
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Manage inventory and medication dispensing procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and customers to optimize pharmaceutical care
• Utilize PioneerRx software for prescription processing and record keeping
