Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Albany, New York

Oversee pharmacy operations and lead a dedicated team as a Pharmacy Manager in Ogdensburg, NY. This position offers the flexibility of an interim or permanent role, perfect for pharmacists seeking a leadership opportunity with a focus on compliance, patient care, and business development.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM - 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM - 3 PM
• Sundays: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Manage pharmacy operations to achieve financial goals, including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Drive business development within the store and the community.
• Oversee pharmacy support personnel, managing performance and training.
• Lead and account for pharmacy associates adherence to regulatory and company standards.
• Ensure completion of required training programs by pharmacy staff.
• Deliver patient-centered services, including immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug use, interactions, dosage, and side effects while monitoring patient progress.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety within the pharmacy.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement to ensure patient safety.
• Complete state-required continuing education.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Active New York State pharmacist license.
• Immunization certification required; confident administering all vaccines.
• Recent pharmacy manager experience preferred.
