Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Manager in Anselmo, NE

This opportunity offers a leadership role as Pharmacy Manager in a small, 25-bed critical access hospital. You will serve as the working Director of Pharmacy, overseeing daily operations while actively participating in sterile compounding and managing pharmacy staff. This is a contract-to-hire position with a 13-week initial assignment and possibility for permanent placement.

Location:

• Anselmo, Nebraska

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No on-call duties

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the hospital pharmacy, including staffing and workflow coordination
• Perform sterile compounding ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards
• Supervise two pharmacy technicians and provide team support
• Utilize Paragon for order entry and Pyxis for site automation
• Collaborate with hospital administration as the working Director of Pharmacy

Qualifications:

• Nebraska pharmacist license is required
• Proven experience in pharmacy supervision or management
• Demonstrated inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Sterile compounding expertise
• Experience with 340B program is advantageous
• Travelers will be considered for this role
