Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy Manager - Anselmo, NE

Take on a leadership role as a Pharmacy Manager in a small Critical Access Hospital setting, overseeing pharmacy operations and staff within a 25-bed facility. This contract-to-hire opportunity is based in Anselmo, NE, offering a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no on-call responsibilities, providing a balanced work-life environment.

You will function as the working Director of Pharmacy, managing pharmacy staffing, supervising sterile compounding activities, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations using Paragon for order entry and Pyxis for site automation. Supported by two pharmacy technicians, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative, efficient team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct pharmacy operations and staffing within the hospital pharmacy
• Manage and perform sterile compounding tasks adhering to regulatory standards
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and ensure compliance with hospital policies
• Utilize Paragon and Pyxis systems for accurate order entry and medication management

Desired Qualifications:

• Pharmacy supervisor or management experience in a healthcare setting
• Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in a critical access hospital environment
• Hands-on sterile compounding expertise
• Familiarity with the 340B drug pricing program is advantageous
• Possession of an active Nebraska pharmacy license
