Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Manager - Ansley, NE

A critical access hospital with 25 beds is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead the pharmacy operations with a hands-on approach as the Director of Pharmacy. This role offers a 13-week contract to hire opportunity with a focus on inpatient hospital pharmacy management in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership as the Director of Pharmacy, overseeing daily pharmacy operations
• Manage and support a pharmacy staff including 2 pharmacy technicians
• Perform sterile compounding duties ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Coordinate staffing and workflow to meet hospital needs effectively
• Utilize Paragon for order entry and Pyxis for site automation management
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and 340B program guidelines where applicable

Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior pharmacy supervisor or management experience essential
• Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy background required
• Competence in sterile compounding processes
• Familiarity with the 340B drug pricing program is advantageous
• Must hold a valid Nebraska pharmacy license

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
