A Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager role is available for direct hire in Atlanta, GA, offering a salary range of $165,000 to $185,000 annually. This position requires immediate availability and provides a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with schedule flexibility and administrative on-call responsibilities.
The Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager oversees all daily operations and clinical services related to home-based intravenous therapies. This role is accountable for leading sterile compounding activities, managing pharmacy staff with a strong emphasis on training and orientation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the branchs overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control.
- Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and scheduling of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Ensure compliance with state pharmacy laws and USP <797/800> compounding guidelines.
- Maintain clinical expertise to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and optimize patient care.
- Assist in budget planning, workflow improvements, and performance enhancement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Georgia.
- 5-7 years of experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings with clinical and operational responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of IV admixture services, regulatory accreditation, and demonstrated leadership skills.
- Experience with CPR+/CareTend systems is highly preferred.
- Willingness to participate in administrative on-call duties; the pharmacist team rotates regular on-call schedules.
