IV Sterile Compounding Inpatient Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Broken Bow, Nebraska

Lead pharmacy operations as the Pharmacy Manager in a small, critical access hospital setting with 25 beds. This role involves serving as the working Director of Pharmacy, overseeing daily pharmacy functions, managing staffing, and performing sterile compounding activities. The position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and no on-call responsibilities.

Location: Broken Bow, NE
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pharmacy operations and staff, including two pharmacy technicians
• Perform sterile compounding and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Serve as the working Director of Pharmacy, overseeing clinical and operational activities
• Utilize Paragon for order entry and Pyxis for site automation
• Support pharmacy programs, including 340B, if applicable

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Nebraska pharmacist
• Previous pharmacy supervisor or management experience
• Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience, ideally in a critical access or small hospital setting
• Hands-on sterile compounding skills
• Familiarity with 340B pharmacy program preferred
• Experience with Paragon and Pyxis systems is a plus
