Hospital Pharmacy Manager in Camarillo, CA

An interim leadership opportunity is available for an experienced oncology pharmacist to supervise pharmacy operations at an Oncology Infusion Center in Camarillo, CA. This contract position offers the chance to lead a specialized pharmacy team and ensure the highest standards of patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations for the Oncology Infusion Center
• Supervise a team of 6 FTEs, including 3 pharmacists and 3 pharmacy technicians
• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for the pharmacy
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy to ensure compliance and operational excellence
• Maintain adherence to USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards along with oncology infusion workflows

Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist License required
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmacist experience, with a focus on oncology infusion
• Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and operational management skills
• Strong knowledge of USP sterile compounding standards and oncology infusion processes
