Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager Direct Hire
Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
  • Schedule flexibility required
  • Administrative on-call duties

This leadership role directs daily operations and clinical services for home-based intravenous therapy, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong management experience, a background in sterile compounding, and a deep understanding of infusion pharmacy or specialty pharmacy environments. This position requires driving operational excellence while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and supporting branch profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control
  • Lead recruitment, training, orientation, and performance management of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
  • Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and USP <797/800> sterile compounding guidelines
  • Collaborate with clinicians such as physicians and nurses to optimize infusion therapy patient outcomes
  • Participate in budgeting, workflow optimization, and continuous performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Ohio
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical and operational experience, preferably in home infusion or acute care pharmacy
  • Proven leadership skills with strong knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory standards
  • Experience with CPR+/CareTend systems is highly preferred
