Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Cooperstown, New York

Oversee and lead pharmacy operations in a retail setting with this opportunity as a Pharmacy Manager. Located in Oneonta, NY, this role offers both interim or permanent placement options. • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Register with the state board of pharmacy as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations, as well as company policies.
• Manage all pharmacy department operations including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to achieve financial goals.
• Lead and develop pharmacy staff through training, performance reviews, and accountability measures.
• Participate in community and store business development activities.
• Provide patient-centered services, including immunizations, medication therapy management, and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers regarding medications, dosages, interactions, and side effects.
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness, organization, and legal standards at all times.
• Engage in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active New York State pharmacist license.
• Immunization certification, with comfort administering all vaccines (required).
• Recent experience in pharmacy management preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
