Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Delhi, New York

This opportunity calls for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead a retail pharmacy department and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies. This role offers both interim and permanent options, with a structured schedule from Monday to Saturday that balances professional responsibilities with personal time.

Location:

• Oneonta, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge by registering with the state board of pharmacy.
• Manage the entire pharmacy operation, including financial goals such as budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Ensure the pharmacy remains in compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations.
• Lead business development initiatives both within the store and the broader community.
• Supervise pharmacy support staff, including training, performance management, and ensuring completion of all required trainings.
• Provide patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, interactions, and side effects while monitoring health outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and legally compliant working environment.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety.
• Fulfill continuing education requirements as mandated by state law.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State pharmacy license.
• Immunization certification and comfort administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
