Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager - Douglasville, GA

A leader in home infusion pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations and clinical services for safe, home-based intravenous therapies. This direct hire opportunity is based in the Douglasville, GA area with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., requiring schedule flexibility and administrative on-call responsibilities.

This role demands a highly skilled professional with a proven track record in managing pharmacy staff, with a significant emphasis on training and orientation to drive long-term success. The manager will lead sterile compounding activities in compliance with regulatory standards while ensuring branch profitability and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory management
• Supervise pharmacists and technicians, managing recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling on-call coverage
• Ensure compliance with State Boards of Pharmacy laws and USP <797/800> compounding guidelines
• Maintain clinical expertise in infusion therapies, collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in branch budgeting, workflow optimization, and performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Georgia
• 5-7 years of clinical and operations experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings
• Strong knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation requirements
• Demonstrated team leadership ability with a focus on training and staff development
• Experience with CPR+/CareTend system highly preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m., with administrative on-call duties as needed
