A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations and foster a collaborative, customer-focused environment. This direct hire position involves managing pharmacy associates, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving prescription growth, and maintaining superior service standards.

Schedule: Variable day and afternoon shifts
Hours: 62 hours bi-weekly

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with store operations to engage associates and effectively communicate company strategies.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations through thorough drug utilization review and quality assurance.
• Grow pharmacy business by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Manage inventory and track sales to optimize stock levels and maximize profits.
• Align departmental performance with key metrics, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, providing healthcare counseling and resolving inquiries.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, handling all aspects of training, coaching, and discipline.
• Maintain pharmacy security and oversee department cleanliness and organization.
• Engage with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve issues.
• Prioritize and complete essential pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current New York pharmacist license
