Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Greene, New York

A rewarding leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations at a well-established retail location in Norwich, NY. This role offers the chance to manage a dynamic team and ensure the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 9:00 am 7:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am 3:00 pm
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register with the state board of pharmacy as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations, including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control to support financial objectives.
• Lead pharmacy support staff by overseeing job performance, training, and regulatory adherence.
• Facilitate completion of all required company training by pharmacy associates.
• Engage in business development activities within the store and surrounding community.
• Provide patient-centered clinical services such as immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, interactions, and side effects to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to promote patient safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with company and legal standards.
• Complete continuing education requirements as mandated by state law.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Pharmacy License
• Immunization Certification with confidence in administering all vaccine types
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred
