Lead and manage a dynamic retail pharmacy team in Hazleton, PA, as a Pharmacy Manager dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service and operational excellence. This direct hire opportunity offers varied shifts with a schedule designed to support both work-life balance and department needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with store operations to engage associates and effectively communicate department and corporate strategies.
- Ensure prescription accuracy by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Drive business growth by managing inventory, promoting clinical programs including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and maximizing profitability.
- Align pharmacy operations with performance metrics to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Supervise, train, and mentor pharmacists, associates, and support staff, fostering professional development and maintaining department security.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints to build trust and loyalty.
- Maintain ongoing communication with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve issues.
- Oversee pharmacy cleanliness, organization, and task prioritization including inventory management and customer will-calls.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Valid Pennsylvania Immunization License.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in retail pharmacy management preferred.
Schedule & Hours:
- Approximately 69 hours bi-weekly.
- 10-hour shifts: typically 9 AM to 7 PM.
- 11-hour shifts: typically 9 AM to 8 PM.
- 12-hour shifts: either 8 AM to 8 PM or 9 AM to 9 PM.
- Variable day and afternoon shifts.
