A retail pharmacy in Mifflinburg, PA is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead and oversee daily pharmacy operations. This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic schedule with 62 hours bi-weekly, typically consisting of 10- to 12-hour shifts during variable day and afternoon hours. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to providing high-quality pharmaceutical care while driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster collaboration with store operations and pharmacy associates, communicating department and company strategies effectively.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription fulfillment through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance according to state and federal regulations.
• Manage the pharmacy department to build a profitable business and increase prescription volume through clinical programs, including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Collaborate with district management to manage inventory and control costs, tracking sales to meet customer demand.
• Align departmental performance with key metrics to optimize efficiency and service quality.
• Provide top-tier customer service by assisting with healthcare counseling and resolving medical-related inquiries.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline.
• Maintain pharmacy security and address customer complaints to enhance trust and loyalty.
• Communicate with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription issues.
• Ensure the pharmacy department remains clean, organized, and compliant with all training and development initiatives.
• Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call processing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
