This opportunity seeks an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead a retail pharmacy team located in Mifflinburg, PA. The role involves overseeing pharmacy operations within a busy grocery store setting, focusing on regulatory compliance, growth initiatives, and customer service excellence.

Location: Mifflinburg, PA
Schedule:

• 62 hours bi-weekly
• Variable shifts with 10 to 12 hour durations, generally between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm
• Typical shifts include:
  • 10-hour (9 am 7 pm)
  • 11-hour (9 am 8 pm)
  • 12-hour (8 am 8 pm or 9 am 9 pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with store operations to engage pharmacy associates and communicate departmental strategies.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and quality assurance checks.
• Build a profitable pharmacy business by driving script growth and implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Manage inventory and track weekly sales to maintain stock levels meeting customer demand.
• Oversee pharmacy staff performance, training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and regulatory compliance.
• Handle customer concerns effectively to build loyalty and trust.
• Consult with healthcare providers and use reference resources to address prescription-related issues.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment and ensure timely completion of pharmacy department tasks including cycle counts and inventory management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
