A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a dedicated pharmacy team. This role requires strong collaboration with store operations, management of prescription accuracy, and the driving of business growth through clinical programs.

• Variable day and afternoon shifts
• 10-hour shifts: 9:00 am 7:00 pm
• 11-hour shifts: 9:00 am 8:00 pm
• 12-hour shifts: 8:00 am 8:00 pm or 9:00 am 9:00 pm
  Bi-Weekly Hours: 62

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster strong collaboration with the store operations team and communicate department goals to pharmacy staff.
• Ensure prescription accuracy by completing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance consistent with state and federal regulations.
• Manage pharmacy operations to drive profitability and grow prescription volume leveraging clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Oversee inventory control by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock accordingly.
• Align performance objectives with key department metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing medical inquiries and offering healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists and pharmacy associates, including training, coaching, and discipline.
• Maintain security within the pharmacy and handle customer complaints to build trust and loyalty.
• Communicate with physicians as needed to resolve prescription issues.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and organized, while ensuring continuous staff development and managing labor costs.
• Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and managing will-call prescriptions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree required
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
