Hospital Inpatient Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Merna, Nebraska

This pharmacy management opportunity offers an impactful leadership role as the Pharmacy Manager at a small critical access hospital with 25 beds. In this position, you will serve as the working Director of Pharmacy, overseeing operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with sterile compounding standards. The role is based in Merna, NE, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and no on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the pharmacy department, including staffing and workflow oversight
• Perform sterile compounding activities following regulatory guidelines
• Support and supervise a team of two pharmacy technicians
• Utilize Paragon for order entry and Pyxis for site automation systems
• Collaborate closely with hospital administration to optimize pharmacy services
• Maintain compliance with 340B program requirements (experience preferred but not required)

Qualifications:

• Previous pharmacy supervisor or management experience
• Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in a critical access setting
• Proficiency in sterile compounding procedures
• Nebraska pharmacy license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Familiarity with 340B drug pricing program is a plus
