Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania

A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead operations at their Mifflinburg, PA location. This direct hire position offers a dynamic schedule of variable day and afternoon shifts, with 10 to 12-hour shifts typically running between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm. The role requires a commitment of approximately 62 hours bi-weekly, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities: Maintain collaborative relationships with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and clearly communicate pharmacy and company strategies. Ensure the accuracy and regulatory compliance of all prescriptions by completing Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance as per state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations. Grow the pharmacy business profitably through script growth, clinical programs, immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and other pharmacy initiatives. Manage inventory and control costs by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand. Align department performance objectives with key metrics to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting with medical-related inquiries and healthcare counseling. Supervise, train, coach, and discipline pharmacy staff and support personnel. Maintain pharmacy security and uphold cleanliness and organization of the department. Handle customer concerns and work with physicians to resolve prescription issues. Oversee pharmacy department tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call follow-ups to ensure timely completion.
