Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania

A retail pharmacy in Mifflinburg, PA is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead its team. Schedule and Hours:

• Bi-weekly hours: 62
• 10-hour shifts typically from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 11-hour shifts typically from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• 12-hour shifts either 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Variable day/afternoon shifts
• Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with store operations to engage associates and communicate pharmacy and company strategies
• Ensure prescription accuracy through thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and quality assurance aligned with state and federal regulations
• Drive business growth by implementing clinical programs, including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) when available
• Manage inventory effectively by tracking sales and ordering pharmaceuticals to meet customer demand
• Align department performance to key measurable metrics, focusing on operational efficiency and customer service excellence
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff; oversee training, coaching, and discipline
• Maintain security and compliance within the pharmacy department
• Address customer issues and inquiries to foster loyalty and trust
• Liaise with physicians and utilize reference materials for prescription clarifications and customer care
• Keep the pharmacy environment organized and maintain ongoing staff development to enhance performance and reduce turnover
• Manage priorities such as cycle counts, inventory, and customer will-calls efficiently

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Proven experience in retail pharmacy management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain compliance with regulations
