Inpatient IV Sterile Compounding Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Oconto, Nebraska

Lead the pharmacy operations as a Pharmacy Manager in a small critical access hospital setting, overseeing a 25-bed facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to serve as the Director of Pharmacy on a contract-to-hire basis, with a chance to secure a permanent position. Located in Oconto, NE, this position will have you managing the pharmacy team, including two pharmacy technicians, and directing pharmacy staffing and sterile compounding work. You will also utilize technology platforms such as Paragon for order entry and Pyxis for site automation, ensuring efficient pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations as the working Director of Pharmacy.
• Manage pharmacy personnel and staffing schedules.
• Perform sterile compounding tasks adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care.
• Utilize Paragon system for accurate order entry and Pyxis for automation management.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven pharmacy supervisor or management experience in a hospital setting.
• Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience is required.
• Expertise in sterile compounding.
• Familiarity with 340B pharmacy program is advantageous.
• Must hold a valid Nebraska pharmacy license.
