Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Oneonta, New York

Oversee pharmacy operations as a Pharmacy Manager in Oneonta, NY, leading a retail pharmacy team within a well-established facility. The position offers both interim and permanent opportunities with a structured Monday through Sunday schedule, including weekend hours.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM 3 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the supervising pharmacist, registering with the state board of pharmacy and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and company pharmacy regulations.
• Manage all pharmacy department operationsbudgeting, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administrationto meet financial goals.
• Lead business development initiatives within the store and the community.
• Supervise and evaluate pharmacy support staff, provide guidance, training, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
• Facilitate and enforce company-required training for pharmacy staff.
• Deliver patient-centered services including immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and providers on medication use, interactions, and side effects, monitoring therapy effectiveness.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs focused on patient safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy workspace in compliance with standards.
• Complete required continuing education as mandated by state law.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State pharmacist license
• Immunization certification with confidence administering all vaccines (required)
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
