A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest standards in medication dispensing and patient care. This permanent role is based in Sterling, IL, offering a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and assist in the procurement and dispensing of medications, adhering to professional standards, facility procedures, and state and federal legal requirements.
  • Verify prescribed medications to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
  • Achieve business goals and pharmacy performance metrics.
  • Oversee fiscal management of the pharmacy to optimize profits and control expenses, with guidance from senior leadership.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing pharmacist.
  • Previous management experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations.

Location:

  • Sterling, IL

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
