Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Schenectady, New York

A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacy professional to oversee the pharmacy operations at a well-established retail location in Ogdensburg, NY. This role offers the chance to manage a dynamic pharmacy team and ensure exemplary patient care and regulatory compliance in a reputable store setting. Location: Ogdensburg, NY
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Register and maintain status as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Oversee pharmacy operations to meet budgetary, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administrative goals.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and company policies and regulations.
• Lead and manage pharmacy support personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Participate in business development and community engagement activities to grow pharmacy services.
• Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and therapy optimization.
• Maintain continuous quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety.
• Ensure the pharmacy work area is clean, organized, and meets company and legal standards.
• Comply with continuing education requirements mandated by the state.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist License
• Immunization Certification required with confidence in administering all vaccines
• Recent experience in a pharmacy manager role preferred
