Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | State College, Pennsylvania

This opportunity calls for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead a retail pharmacy within a well-established grocery store setting in Burnham, PA. As the pharmacy manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations while fostering a collaborative partnership with the store operations team to drive business growth and enhance customer experience.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance checks, fully compliant with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations. You will manage inventory, monitor weekly sales, and implement clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management to promote script growth. Supervising pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, you will direct training, coaching, and performance management to maintain high standards and regulatory compliance.

A vital part of this role is delivering excellent customer service through healthcare counseling and effectively resolving any customer issues, thereby strengthening trust and loyalty. Additionally, you will oversee pharmacy security and maintain an organized, clean environment. Regular evaluation and development of staff will be key to reducing turnover and optimizing team performance, along with prioritizing tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-calls to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Active Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Proven leadership and management experience in a retail pharmacy setting

Schedule and Hours:

• 62 hours bi-weekly
• Variable day/afternoon shifts
• 10-hour shifts (typically 9am 7pm)
• 11-hour shifts (typically 9am 8pm)
• 12-hour shifts (either 8am 8pm or 9am 9pm)
