This opportunity seeks a Pharmacy Manager to lead a retail pharmacy team in Mifflinburg, PA, overseeing daily operations with a focus on compliance, customer service, and business growth. This direct hire role requires managing responsibilities that align with state and federal regulations while driving clinical program initiatives and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster collaboration with store operations and communicate strategies effectively to pharmacy associates.
• Ensure prescription accuracy by completing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance per regulatory standards.
• Manage department profitability through script growth and clinical programs like immunizations and Medication Therapy Management.
• Oversee inventory management by tracking sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock accordingly.
• Set and monitor performance objectives aligned with key department metrics.
• Provide excellent customer service, handling medical consultations, complaints, and building trust.
• Supervise and manage pharmacy staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with physicians and reference materials to resolve prescription issues.
• Prioritize and ensure timely completion of pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-calls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.

Schedule & Hours:

• Variable day and afternoon shifts.
• Typical shifts include 10-hour (9am7pm), 11-hour (9am8pm), and 12-hour options (8am8pm or 9am9pm).
• Approximately 62 hours bi-weekly.
