Retail Pharmacy Manager in Sunbury, PA

A retail pharmacy leader is needed to manage daily operations at a pharmacy located in Mifflinburg, PA. This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic retail setting with a focus on driving script growth and delivering exceptional patient care.

The Pharmacy Manager will cultivate strong collaboration with the store operations team, leading pharmacy associates through clear communication and engagement. You will ensure prescriptions meet all regulatory standards by conducting thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and quality assurance before dispensing. Managing inventory and cost controls will be key, alongside implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) to enhance patient outcomes and pharmacy growth.

This role demands hands-on leadership in supervising pharmacists and staff, providing training, coaching, and performance management. Maintaining security protocols and resolving customer concerns professionally will build trust and loyalty. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean, organized department, managing priorities such as cycle counts and will-calls, and supporting continuous staff development to optimize efficiency and reduce turnover.

Schedule: Variable day/afternoon shifts with 10 to 12-hour shifts (9am7pm, 9am8pm, or 8am8pm)
Hours: Approximately 62 hours bi-weekly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Proven leadership experience in retail pharmacy operations preferred
