Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Sunbury, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities:

• Maintain collaborative relationships with store operations, fostering associate engagement and clearly communicating departmental and company strategies.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription dispensing, completing Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in accordance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Drive profitable business management by promoting script growth via clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Manage inventory, collaborating with the District Manager and pharmacy staff to meet customer demand and maximize profitability.
• Align department performance with key measurable metrics to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service through medical-related assistance and healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, managing training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain security and cleanliness of the pharmacy.
• Address customer concerns to build trust and loyalty.
• Communicate with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription issues.
• Prioritize and complete pharmacy department tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer follow-up.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.

Schedule and Location:

• Based in Mifflinburg, PA.
• 62 hours bi-weekly.
• Variable day and afternoon shifts including 10-hour (9am7pm), 11-hour (9am8pm), and 12-hour shifts (8am8pm or 9am9pm).
